When we asked Whitney to look back on a few of her favorite projects over the years, narrowing it down to just three wasn't easy. Each one presented a unique opportunity to solve problems, embrace a new design perspective, and create something truly memorable.

Here are three projects that continue to inspire our team.

Palm Beach Island, Florida

Some opportunities only come around once.

This project took us well beyond our typical service area and gave us the opportunity to design and execute a full design-build for a three-unit luxury rental property. Starting with an unfinished concrete second floor, we transformed the space into three thoughtfully designed vacation residences.

One of the most rewarding parts of this project was having complete creative freedom. From the custom arch radiuses and built-in bookcases to the architectural details throughout, every square inch was an intentional design decision.

It also challenged us to step outside our signature Northeast farmhouse aesthetic and embrace a fresh Florida modern style. Crisp whites, coastal textures, natural materials, and subtle sea-inspired tones created luxurious spaces designed to welcome guests while capturing the spirit of Palm Beach.

This project reminded us that great design isn't limited to private homes. Whether we're designing for homeowners or future guests, our goal is always the same—to create spaces that feel intentional, memorable, and beautifully executed.

Long Beach Island, New Jersey

Designing a beach house had always been on Whitney's design bucket list.

With blue being her favorite color, this project became the perfect opportunity to layer rich navy tones, soft coastal blues, sea greens, and natural textures throughout the home.

Every room was designed to feel relaxed, timeless, and connected to its surroundings. Thoughtful materials, layered finishes, and carefully selected furnishings created a space that feels elevated without losing the warmth and comfort that makes a beach house so special.

One of the most memorable moments came during the final reveal. Watching our clients experience their completed beach home for the very first time is something we'll never forget—and moments like that are why we love what we do.

Ewing, New Jersey

Not every client wants what's trending—and we love that.

Our client came to us with a very specific vision: a primary bathroom inspired by the feeling of a cozy lake cottage.

Rather than following the popular "light and bright" aesthetic, we leaned into warmth, texture, and natural materials. Reclaimed wood, ledgestone, rich finishes, and dark stone flooring came together to create a spa-like retreat that feels both rustic and refined.

The finished space is proof that the best designs aren't driven by trends—they're driven by the people who will live in them.
